 | The prepaid card industry is growing rapidly, aided by sophisticated technologies, new and better-leveraged suppliers and consumers are willing to experiment. The prepaid category is moving to other industries, such as gasoline and now toward the Internet. Essentially the prepaid Internet card will make purchasing Internet time as simple as buying gas from the convenience store.
The card along with the Terminal is designed with the traveler in mind and is also aimed at Internet using consumers who access the Internet less than 15 hours a month as well as those interested but apprehensive about the Internet.
E-WAZE plans to co-brand a prepaid, Internet access card, introduced in $5, $10, and $20 only increments at first to test the customer market. E-waze believes that this is one of the keys to building customer loyalty, full use of the Terminals, and name recognition.
